2003 Rosenbauer Commander 2000/525 attack rescue pumper, 4 door enclosed cab with 8 seats and air conditioning, powered by Cummins ISL 450 HP diesel engine with engine brake, Allison HD-4060 automatic transmission, automatic snow tire chains, Vogel Auto-Lube system, back-up camera, 2000 GPM Hale QMAX single stage fire pump, 525 gallon polly tank. Engine 55-1 carries a wide range of rescue tools and responds first due on all Motor Vehicle Accidents, Rescue Calls, Medical Assist Calls and Certain Public Assist Calls. This engine is also utilized as a Transfer piece when asked to transfer to other fire stations that have hydrant covered or hydrant heavy areas.
