On March 19th, 2019 Highspire Fire Dept along with Rescue 91 was dispatched to a Auto Accident. Upon arriving they did patient care til the Ambulance arrived. The crew assisted with loading up the patient and then the box was placed in service shortly after. Job Well Done by all involved.

At 11:15pm on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 a crew of 9 responded to 224 State St. in Middletown to assist on a working Structure Fire. Crew assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. All members of the family made it out safely but unforntnately lost everything. The family is need of everything. If you are able to assist please let the station know. Job well done by all companies and fire fighters.
On January 30th around 1:50am Engine 55 was dispatched to S. Union St in Middletown for a reported house fire. Chief 88 responed and was advised by Dauphin County Communications that the Police Dept was on scene with fire showing from a window extending into another house. Chief 88 then requested 1st alarm. Engine 88 arrived with their own water and stretched a hand line to start to knock down the fire. Engine 55 arrived on scene and was advised to send their man power.
Highspire Fire Dept was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment with a vehicle rolled over in a creek. Engine 55-1 arrived on scene to find the patient already removed from the vehicle. Crews from 55, 59 and 91 loaded the patient and transferred care to the EMS crew. Crews from 55 and 59 then deployed a boom to catch any fluids that was leaking in to the creek. Crews remained on scene til the vehicle was removed by the tow trucks. A short time after 1:30am crews were dispatched to assist Middletown with a working house fire with possible entrapment. Upon arriving crews found fire coming from the roof. Units were advised that the homeowner had gone back inside attempting to save their family dogs. The family dogs were located and were transported to a local Vet Clinic and are expected to make a full recovery. Job well done by all the crews involved!
Company 55 was dispatched to Box:59-2 for a Structure Fire: Chimney Fire. Units arrived with nothing showing. Crews from 55,59 & 88 investigated and removed ash and wood from the fire box. Also checked for fire in the chimney by Truck 88. Nothing was found in the Chimney. Crews were placed in service by command. Job well done by all crews on scene.
